V-E Day Tea Party

My friend and I decided it was about time to throw a tea party.

To make our's memorable, we decked out the house in V-E Day type bunting and decorations and insisted on our guests attending looking as though they had been spat out of the 40's.

Also, we managed to squeeze just a few male friends of ours into the idea that they were military men that had returned.

The uniforms were fantastic. Historically inaccurate, I know, but we couldn't resist. Oh, and we also sent our invites out in the post, no Facebook or text messages here!!
