Garden Pasta Salad
Garden pasta salad is nice for a tea party or any get together, as it can be put together the day ahead. There's nothing that has to be prepared at the last minute to this pasta recipe, so it is one dish that you don't have to worry about when you have other details that need your attention. Just uncover, stir, and serve.

Garden Pasta Recipe
- 1 package (8 oz) multi-colored spiral pasta
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoon. vinegar-balsamic
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 red pepper, sliced thinly
- parmesan / romano cheese
- parsley
Cook pasta according to package directions. Pour off hot water and rinse with cold water to remove excess starch. Drain well and transfer to large bowl.In a small bowl,
mix oil, vinegar, garlic, basil, salt and pepper. Stir well. Pour oil mix over pasta, add peppers and toss to coat pasta and vegetables. Sprinkle well with parmesan / romano cheese and parsley. Cover and chill for at least two hours.
Double for larger parties.

carrots, thinly sliced
grape tomatoes
